FAQs

Everything you need to know.

How long does interlocking installation last?
Properly installed interlocking can last 25–30 years or more. The key is base preparation — adequate depth, proper compaction, and drainage. Shortcuts in the base are the main cause of early failure.
Can you repair existing interlocking or stonework?
Yes — we offer repair and re-levelling services for settled or heaved interlocking, failed joints, and cracked flagstone. In many cases we can re-use the existing material.
Do I need a permit for a retaining wall in Toronto?
Retaining walls over 1 metre in height typically require a permit in Toronto. We assess your project and handle the permit application if required.
What's the difference between interlocking and flagstone?
Interlocking uses uniform manufactured pavers for a clean, geometric look and is generally more cost-effective. Flagstone uses natural cut stone for a more organic, high-end aesthetic. Both are durable options — the right choice depends on your style and budget.
